Shellac

Shellac is a natural resin secreted by insects from trees in India and Asia. It beautifies and protects timber and other surfaces with a soft and natural look that no other finish can duplicate. It has been used for centuries to protect canvas oil paintings but is also ideal for sealing craft projects of timber, cane, plaster and all paper craft activities. It dries to the touch in minutes and can be sanded an/or recoated within the hour.
